Dr. McPhail has served in numerous faculty and executive leadership positions in colleges and universities throughout the United States. She has trained hundreds of emerging and executive leaders helping them accomplish their leadership career aspirations. Her expertise and experience expands multiple decades covering higher education institutions, non-profit, civic and business organizations. She is the author of numerous leadership books and articles.
Dr.McPhail practices Sankofian leadership principles constantly striving to empower and develop the next generation of emerging leaders.
She is a Certified Associate for Emergenetics International, a talent development platform that empowers individuals and teams to realize their potential.

Abena Bishara Cruise- Managing Director/Trainer
Abena has extensive leadership experience in nonprofit community-based organizations helping constituencies strengthen community engagement initiatives.
Ms. Cruise has used her expertise to develop and implement strategic planning strategies to help leadership teams advance the organization’s mission. She has developed training programs to foster professionalism and commitment to accuracy, detail, and follow-up in the workplace.
Ms. Cruise has designed training modules to promote strategic communication strategies to engage all units in divisional operations.
As a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion, she draws upon her experience as a former HBCU employee and graduate of Spelman College to shape her perspective for designing inclusive programs and policies.
